Looking Back at our Fundraising Campaign
What a week! From litter picking to 10-mile challenges, from t-shirt sales to Emerging Talent taster webinars, we have smashed our fundraising goals!
As part of our fundraising efforts, team Wildscreen got involved in conservation activities in and around Bristol. We aimed to pick up 5,000 pieces of litter, to match our fundraising goal, and we smashed our aim by collecting 5,149!
To further aid fundraising efforts, our CEO Lucie walked 10 miles with baby Elwood near Bath. Our interim CEO Sue ran 10 miles around Richmond Park, waving at Sir David Attenborough's house as she sped past.
Our limited edition T-shirt campaign proved to be a huge success, raising over £500. The tee, made in collaboration with the artist Tom Abbiss Smith, features two endangered species: the lemur leaf frog and the small tortoiseshell butterfly.
Free Webinars and Masterclasses for Emerging Talent
To showcase our fantastic and accessible Emerging Talent scheme, we held a free webinar and masterclass for aspiring wildlife filmmakers, photographers and conservationists. Our feedback was fantastic:
"It's so nice to see that schemes have been put in place to help emerging talent. It's honestly so stressful sometimes trying to break into the industry without the experience or opportunities so seeing this is incredibly encouraging to me." Webinar Attendee

Smashing our goals
We aimed to raise a match-funded £5,000, and guess what? We raised £5,094! We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated, helped in our fundraising efforts, and aided our Emerging Talent taster sessions. We'd especially like to thank the Big Give, for matching our fundraising efforts.
Together we will help to empower the next generation of natural world storytellers.
