Our News

We're thrilled to announce that the 18th Wildscreen Festival will take place in Bristol, UK from Monday 10th October until Friday 14th October 2016.

The Wildscreen Festival is the world's leading international festival celebrating and advancing storytelling about the natural world.

For over 30 years, every other October, our prestigious Festival has been convening the world's best natural world storytellers, defining industry agendas and promoting excellence in the genre. The week is packed full of masterclasses, keynotes, and workshops providing unique access to some of the sector's most influential, powerful and innovative thought-leaders, sharing the inside track on trends and technology and is a powerful launch pad for emerging talent. And then of course there's the networking! And the parties!

And there's another date for your calendar: the Panda Awards will open for film entries in January 2016.

NEW FOR 2016

And in 2016 we'll bring the very best from the world of wildlife and environmental photography to the festival. Friday 14th October will see a day dedicated to the art of natural world storytelling through photography and we're really excited by the prospect of bringing together both filmmakers and photographers to discuss their work, learn and grow creatively and promote positive action to protect our natural world.
