Back from the Brink

Back from the Brink

Back from the Brink is one of the most ambitious conservation projects EVER, working to save species from extinction in the UK. Come and help us celebrate the amazing work they're doing and learn about what you can do to protect nature around you. We will be popping up in Exeter, Bristol and Liverpool and each edition will have a different flavour!

The Festivals

We the Curious, Bristol – 26 October

Come along for drop-in activities including print-making with the hugely talented Rosanna Morris and meet some local conservation heroes! You can also book onto a nature writing, animation, photography or filmmaking workshop and pick up some new skills. Come and see an exhibition and screenings of the impressive competition winners, and awe-inspiring work from the Back from the Brink professional photographers and filmmakers. If you’re keen to get outside join us for a wildlife photography safari around Bristol’s historic Harbourside.

Constellations & Observatory, Liverpool – 2 November

Delve into the world of conservation, wildlife photography and filmmaking through a series of talks that will explore the challenges of working with wildlife. We’ll hear some of the best stories from the field and reflect on the importance of protecting what’s on our doorstep.

The festivals and activities are completely FREE, but some will require booking. Find out more on the What's On section of our website.
