Michael is a COICA human rights cooridnator, member of the Amerindian People's Association and Vice President of If Not Us Then Who. Michael Mc Garrell was born in Guyana and is of the Patamuna people. He prides himself in fighting to ensure that the rights of indigenous peoples are protected and respected. He believes that indigenous peoples working together can be the force that saves the world.
Michael will be interviewed by Will Millard in the first panel session as a virtual speaker.
