Alice Keens-Soper, Executive Producer at BBC Studios Natural History Unit

Alice Keens-Soper is a BAFTA and EMMY award winning producer across the whole range of factual television specialising in popular natural history and science. AKS joined the NHU during Lockdown in March 2020 as an Executive Producer. Since joining she has produced the ‘Mindful Escapes’ series for BBC4 and the Headpsace App, bespoke programming for the pandemic and beyond. She is also in production on several other titles with UK and international broadcasters. Alice spent a over a decade at Oxford Scientific Films where she was Head of Specialist Factual and was responsible for developing and producing a range of national and international programming including the award winning series 'Miracles of Nature’ for BBC1, and the ‘‘Secret Life of’ brand for ITV featuring ‘Secret Life of Dogs’ , 'Secret Life of Cats and 'Secret Life of Babies’ . Alice’s other popular natural history series include ‘Animal Odd Couples’ and ‘Animals in love’ presented by Liz Bonnin and Ingenious Animals for BBC1. Before working at OSF Alice was an Executive Producer of factual programmes at Talkback and Darlow Smithson Productions.
