Tom runs Gripping Films, an indie dedicated to making original, optimistic films that contribute to meaningful change.

Tom cut his teeth PDing on the BAFTA winning series Inside Nature's Giants before making Natural Worlds like Kangaroo Dundee, Panda-winner The Bat Man of Mexico and Jackson Hole winner and Emmy nominee Giraffes: Africa's Gentle Giants, and most recently Humpback Whales: A Detective Story about finding the whale that leapt on him.

Since then he's been concentrating on shorts including #NatureNow with Greta Thunberg and George Monbiot which was watched 70 million times and won two Webbys, and lockdown Instagram film #imaginefor1minute, made out of thousands of citizens faces and voice-notes from Pope Francis, the UN Secretary General and others which was played this September at the UN General assembly.

Tom co-hosts the podcast So Hot Right Now and is currently finishing a book about AI and animal communication for WilliamCollins.
